Title: IBM xSeries 306 (2 S-ata/2 Intel Gig. LAN)
Post by: vjadmin on November 14, 2005, 11:54:16 AM
Hi!

I have "some" problem
Hi! F1! F1! F1! :)

I have an SME 6.5 server on a standard P4 config, work fine! BUT I need to move the system to an IBM 306 :-?

So,
1. S-ata support [in 6.5 none] (i find a custom
6.0.1.01 iso, it works fine...) ok...
2. I have 2 on-board Intel gig. LAN, and I like to use
   it :( (with SME :) )
3. I try install an SME 7 beta 5; it works fine...
use the S-ata HDD and the 2 gig. lan, BUT i can't reload the 6.5 backup file. :( I hate it... stupid Murphy

I like this OS... :)

Have anyone a "normal" kernel (or any idea )with SME 6.5, which support these stuffz??? And share it? :)

Thx! bye!

You could try copying the hard drive from the 6.5 system, installing the copy in the IBM then upgrading using the 7.0b6 CD.
