Title: 7.0 and backups
Post by: Neririn on November 16, 2005, 06:51:32 PM
Does anyone know if support for differential backups will be included in the 7.0 backup solution?  Nightly backups of EVERYTHING are not only time consuming, but cause unneeded wear and tear on tapes/drives.

Any suggestions on how to do this in 6.x will be greatly appreciated as well.

Help, I'm newbie on linux and testing 7.0 rc1.
Is Flexbackup making copies of harddrive incremental, differential or is it everything? I need to make backups every night of 30-40 GB, and copying of all files every night would take to much time to be usefull. I have serched but haven't find any answers.

Hi,

What time may it require for ? I use "Iomega rev drive (35GB)" it is cheap, fast and simple to install on sme7.

I use rsync and make full-backup“s every night.
