Title: Newbie trouble accessing web pages
Post by: fjlf on November 17, 2005, 11:53:54 PM
Hi everyone, I´m new to SME server and I´m having trouble accessing some pages like www.pandasoftware.com and www.yahoo.com. In the first case, I receive a Zero Sized Reply error and in the second case there is no response at all. I´m using SME 6.5.
I wish someone could help me. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I´ve set up SME server as a gateway and it delivers an ip address to another machine running XP using DHCP.
I´m able to ping www.pandasoftware.com and it returns "a163.g.akamai.net [64.157.107.78] with ..." but when I try get that page using any browser I get the Zero Sized Reply error. Thanks.

Hi, I´d like to thank you all for helping me to solve this problem. I really don´t know what happened but it suddenly started working and I did nothing.
Thank you very much.

Fernando.
