Hi all! I'm a new user of sme server (7.0b8) and I have a problem...
When i send an email to "user@externaldomain" the outlook/thunderbird program say me "error 550 relaying denied" but if I sent to "anotheruser@smedomain" all works fine...
Can I do?

What is the smtp server setting in outlook/thunderbird ?

Hi Ray,
I think the problem isn't the configuration of clients, infact I can send the email ...@mydomain
but't the server reject the emails ...@externaldomain :-(

If you choose not to tell us your configuration details, then it is hard for us to help you.
I should also remind you that the developers ask that ALL problems with sme 7beta releases should be reported to the bug tracker,
which was here
https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=96750&atid=615772
but a new bug tracker has just been opened so post here instead

That's because your client PC is not located on the local network attached to the server (or on an additional network configured as a local network).
I'd suggest you carefully read the Users Guide - I'm sure it deals with this issue.

no problem: server IMAP: IpSMEServer, server SMTP IpSMEServer, account: UserOnSMEServer, pwd: password, IMAP SSL active

I think you are rigth, the server is in DMZ in my firewall and I have insert in "Local LAN" the ip 0.0.0.0 end netmask 0.0.0.0 but I have the same error...
