At a main office we have:
-ADSL internet connection connected to the WAN ethernet port on the SME Server.
At the same office, we have a Windows 2000 Terminal Server, that is used for 4 small remote locations each having two pc's to connect back to the main office.
What I have is a port forward on the SME server, to the terminal server.
We have had an ongoing situation where the remote offices lose there RDP connections back to the main office TS.
Recently placed a new SME server and created the same port forward, and the problem persists.
We have changed adsl modems, and it still exists.
Could the port forward be the cause? And if so where to look?
I have asked the remotes if when this happens do all locations go down, and usually yes. They say they can almost predict it, as applications in the RDP slow down, and then lock up, or drop.
