Can someone please tell me in simple terms, how on earth I get Horde to work!! I would really love to try out IMP as an IMAP interface but am getting nowhere.
I tried to get it going on SME 6.0.1 and am now trying out 7b8 and would really like to get it working with this.
I know it is installed with SME but how do I get to it! I can not find much info on the setup of the SME specific version, so if anyone can point me in the direction of a guide I would much appreciate it.
I know there is an excellent looking script for Horde 3 from jbennet on the contribs page but am not sure if I should run this or whether SME 7 Horde is already at the same stage as this script.
Having only a simple grasp of Apache and being used to just dumping everything in the '/var/ww/html' directory in Redhat or Centos I just can not get my head around how to do it. I love the 'ibays' of SME but Horde obviously doesn't appear here. Is it simply a matter of a 'Redirect' in the httpd.conf to the Horde directory?
You should try to help at least one idiot each week and here I am! :)
Thanks all

Log into server manager via
https://<your-server>/server-manager
then under "Configuration" click E-mail, then in the right-hand colum click top button "Change Email Access Settings"
Just pop down the menu beside Webmail access to "Allow HTTPS (Secure) and save.
Now to access webmail just type in url...
https://<your-server>/webmail
and up pop's horde, no need to install the script IIRC it's only for users who want horde 3 on sme 6.X
The config files for horde are in /home/httpd/html/horde
Here is the SME 7 Manual http://smeserver.sourceforge.net/sme70/Manual?v=6zu
Although incomplete, great work all round to the guys who are moving SME 7 along
Enjoy

Oh, what a fool I am!
I always thought the Webmail was just a version of 'squirrelmail' and that Horde was an additional module.
The sun has emerged from behind the clouds, the lift is no longer stuck between two floors, the dam has burst and lots of other analogies I can't think of right now!
Thanks Mate! :-D :-)

What a coincidence!
I didn't exactly improve our 'regional reputation' with the above post though did I?
It's nice to know that there's at least one other person in Essex who has heard of Linux!
Thanks again
