Hi Guys,
I am running an old SME 6.0 box with the FANTASTIC contrib of securemail from Pagefault.org running on it.
I am taking delivery of a new computer and was thinking about upgrading it to Version 6.5 or 7.0
I would like to try version 7.0 if I could. But this all depends on whether or not SECUREMAIL is now a standard inclusion in the SME Server.
Can anyone tell me... Is SECUREMAIL included as standard in versions 6.5 OR 7.0???
OR... if it is not included.. does the PageFault Contrib still work in versions 6.5 and 7.0
Thanks in Advance
Aaron

Why don't you download 7beta8 and test it out ?
There are a lot of additional features (compared to v6) including Spam filter, Antivirus scanning and Securemail, all default with the OS. There is more too eg virtual email addresses and domain style addreses in the pseudonyms panel.
Read some of the documents on contribs.org and sourceforge sme server 7 site.

I think I might just do that :)
I have downloaded version 6.5 but I can't even get it installed. Tells me it can't use my DVD Drive and one does not exist.
This is a new box with a SATA etc.
I also was intending to use an ADAPTEC SATA RAID CARD (1210SA) but it wouldn't work either. Hopefully the version 7 has more hardware compliance/compatibility.
Thanks for your response.
