Title: Missing DIG
Post by: martinhick on December 09, 2005, 10:49:21 PM
I used to use DIG from the command line in older versions of SME. This does not seem to work in 7.0beta8.

Does anybody know if it still in use and if so where it is hiding.

Martin

As you are told in the sticky post above (sorry, the sticky note in the General Discussion forum, and in the Release Notes, and the wiki), check the bug tracker for any issue with 7.0beta, and report any issues not already reported there. Link is to left of your screen.

It is difficult to know if something like this is a bug or not. I thought I would ask the question. If we should be able to DIG and it is not avaiable because of an error I am quite happy to post a bug report.

It seems silly to report something as a bug if I am doing something incorrectly.

So back to the original should DIG be available?

Hi Jan,

Magic! All working now!

Does this mean that this is a bug in 7.0beta8, if so I will report it.
