Title: change password on windows xp

Hi

when i am logged on to my SME-domaincontroller and want to change the password by pressing ctrl-alt-del then "change password", i type in the old password and the new one twice. the i get this error

its something like this:

"could not change your password, domain not available"


any ideas ?

If you are trying to set xp to log you on to sme at start up, you will need to.

start
control panel
usser accounts
click on the account you wish to use
on the top left of the screen under Related tasks
click on manage my network passwords
and add your sme user name and password.

Yeah i know, but is it not posible to change the password within windows ?

By pressing CTRL-ALT-DEL and then "Change password" ?

No it isnt.

Every user can browse to
http://yourservername/user-password
and change only his own password.
