Title: Source RPMS (SRPMS) for 7.0 Beta Builds
Post by: ejfowler on December 17, 2005, 06:25:44 AM
Does anyone know where to find the SRPMS for the 7.0 beta builds? I've looked all through the mirror at http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver and http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distributions/e-smith, but found nothing later than alpha 23. Am I missing something? I'd like to tackle building the smeserver-specific kernel module RPMs against the CentOS "unsupported" kernels so I can have xfs filesystem support on SME.

As soon as the mirrors sync up, you should find all of the SRPMS here:

http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/releases/7/builds/rpms/SRPMS/

Apologies for the delay in getting the cron job set up to make this automatic :-(

Thanks Gordon. It seems, however, as though there is still some missing - e.g, I don't see a runit, daemontools, pptpd or many perl-* SRPMS there.

Would you be able to raise a bug with any missing SRPMS? Most of the perl packages come from upstream repositories, but the SRPMS collection should be made complete.
