Title: turck-mmcache on sme7 problem
Post by: tariqf on December 18, 2005, 08:06:04 PM
I'm using sms7b8 and have tried to install turck-mmcache with sme-turck-mmcache4.3-0.1-1.i386.rpm. The rpm installs fine but when I use the new server-manager panel to activate an ibay I get:

Insecure dependency in system while running with -T switch at /etc/e-smith/web/panels/manager/cgi-bin/mmcache line 173.

It then shows the ibay as activated for mmcache but how can I see if it's being used? There is no mmcache.php as  I have on my debian server which when run will indicate if mmcache is active. If I copy this php onto the primary sme7 html area and browse to it I get:-

Failed loading /usr/lib/php4/mmcache.so:  /usr/lib/php4/mmcache.so: undefined symbol: php_sprintf

Please can anyone help? It would be so cool if I could get mmcache running on my sme7 box.

Please be sure to update the wiki with the information about these problems with that contrib and 7.0beta. See the sticky post in this forum for a pointer to the article on the wiki.

Thanks.

obsolutely spot on ergozd! mmcache working perfectly on 7b8 now - why didn't I think of that!
