Title: IRC Server on E-smith 4.1.2

I am trying to setup a irc server on my E-smith Box, using the instructions and downloads from here: http://www.zoodux.net/unreal_ircd.php, but when i try and complie it on my box it cant find compiler (gcc or cc), can anyone tell me how to fix this.
