Okay I have the server up and running as Server Gateway behind my Linksys router. The server works on the LAN I just cannot connect to it through the internet. I have forwarded the server IP through the router. My ISP block port 80 I usually get around this by using 8080, could someone tell me how to make the server listen on 8080?

you do not need to make the sme listen on port 8080. you will port forward port 8080 on nthe linksys router to port 80 of the sme server. btw why do you have a linksys router in front of sme?. sme is a great router firewall and does not need to be behind anything.
good luck

I have them in that order because I cannot figure out how to make them work the other way and I need the router with Wifi. I will work on the port forwarding and thank you.

If that router is a WRT54G earlier than v5 you can get hacked firmware to make it an AP instead of just a router ... and do many other things. Have a look here:
http://www.wrt54g.net/
OpenWRT and DD-WRT are great!

I am checking out this stuff about the routers, but what do you mean by AP? I am sorry but I am a newbie when it comes to alot of the networking ideas and termenology.

Try doing this to get you SME as the gateway and the router as an AP:
1. Set the Internet link directly to the WAN port of the SME (note that depends on your ISP, you will need to set PPPOE/Static IP/DHCP to it.
2. Disable your router DHCP (If any) and connect it to the Switch Ports, NOT using the WAN port of it.

AP = access point - extends your current network wirelessly, doesn't create a new network

Thank you for the router hack. There is one ohter reason that I have my router in front of my server. Currently I only have one network card in my server. Again I would like to thank you all for helping me get this far. I have one more question. I can see my server on the network, but it does not show up in the routing chart on the router that is acting as the gateway. I think that this probably has a lot to do with my problems, because I have forwarded the ip the way I have before when I had Appache running on windows and that worked.

Okay I know have SME 6.5 installed. Server-Gateway followed by the router (not using the WAN port on the router). All machines have internet, all machines can see the server, but no I cannot connect to the server manager. NEVERMIND ITS THE LITTLE THINGS THAT WILL GET YOU EVERYTIME. So all of that being said, how do I make the server listen on a different port. I tried using the port forwarding inside the server, but it will not let forward its own ip, I just need the web server and what not to listen on port 8080 insted of 80.

I am not shure, but I do not think you can configure as server/gateway with only one nic.

You are right I dont think that would work either. I failed to mention that I dug around in the old parts bin and found another network card to through into the machine.
