Title: Newbie - 2 problems

I installed SMR 7 b this morning and from what I see it looks like it will solve several problems for me. However I have yet to get past 2 issues I'm having.

Issue 1
I need to create users from an existing email server and a NT domain. The passwords are 8 character and all alpha numeric but sadly the password strenght is not excepted. I read a post about changing to normal or none but cannot get it to work

I login to the cosole as root and type config setprop passwordstrength Users normal the hit enter and the password is still not allowed. What am i missing? How to I change the config?

Issue 2
I like the webmail but I see no reason to use https can it be modified to work on http OR is there a way to install a certificate?

I believe the correct syntax is /sbin/e-smith/db configuration setprop passwordstrength Users none .

I've not tried it myself, got the info from this thread http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=29864.0

Thanks but no it does not work. I had found that post and have tried it a couple times now.

/sbin/e-smith/db configuration setprop passwordstrength Admin none

/sbin/e-smith/db configuration setprop passwordstrength Ibays none

Does not allow me to use a 8 character alpha numeric password
