As of the 1/1/06, on two of my 6.01 systems, the spamfilter statistic email issued from Knuddi's Spamassassin contribs no longer records RBL activity. The problem has started on the 1/1/06:

Note: the logs for the period show at least 20 spams dealt with according to threshold, including RBLs...
Since then, reports appears normal except that RBL is zero:
Total spam rejected : 21 ( 12.21%)
RBL rejected : 0 ( 0.00%)
Score above 15 : 13 ( 61.90%)
Total ham accepted : 151 ( 87.79%)
I checked spam blocking in the logs for the period of interest, RBL are being blocked OK. Another 10 or so similar 6.01 servers are not affected. Has anyone experienced this? Regards. chris.

Yes noticed the same thing for about a week after New Year on 2 SME 6 servers. The volume of spam mail also dropped during this period as did the volume of virus infected mail. From last weekend though everything is back to normal with on average 800 plus emails in about 750 RBL blocked virus infected mail has almost dropped to zero on some days. Using same version of Spam Assassin with automatic update.

I know this is late but I have srveral Windows 2003 servers running and all had a large amount of spam from the last week of
Nov to the first week of Jan. All the E-smith servers with the spam filltering seemed to be working hard on spam. Well the numbers on one ot the W2K3 servers using Trends office suite scan were. To the Administrator acount only. From March 2003 to 3rd Week in Nov 2005, 351 emails with spams. From last week in Nov 2005 to first week in Jan 2006 were 3886 emails with spams. From the 2nd week to now less than a dozen to the Administratror. I Knoe this was a W2K3 box but I had the same thing happening to my E-Smith servers. :idea:

. The two boxes who had gone to lunch on the 1st Jan 2006 have started recording the number of rbls correctly early last week.... Mind you, before this, the summary was stating "zero" for rbls, but checking the logs would contradict this, there were many rbl blocking taking place, even so spamfilter statistic told me there were none. Well, it will remain a bit of a mystery - I guess if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Its OK now.
