Title: Adding hot spare to sme 7 raid

Hi,

When I installed SME 7, I had four 250gig SATA drives, with one physically unplugged. I now want to add this fourth drive as a hot spare.

Would I create the partition table exactly as one of the other three drives, and then add the new partitions to my relevant raid arrays?

YES...

Note: Linux software Raid is partition based so (in principle) you may just add a partition of the same size... (irrelevant here ;-)
