Post by: gpapaiko on January 17, 2006, 12:37:03 PM
Can some please tell me if SME 6.5 for 7pre1 can function as full DNS servers .

I would like to set on up as a public DNS server so I can host my own dns address.

I know it can act as a forwarder.

If this is possibel can some please point me to the instructions/how-to's. it do not realy want to go an use MS.

thanks

Do a search and you shall find, I've been using it for a while now.

Unless you *really* know what you are doing I'd advise you not to do that. Use one of the very good free or low cost DNS services.
