Title: SME7 auto support of dual processor
Post by: paul_NZ on January 18, 2006, 08:23:24 PM
Have a dual processor server ... WAS running 6.0.1-01 and by altering the lilo.conf (via templates) as suggested here was able to have SME boot by DEFAULT using smp.

Have just upgraded to SME7BETA8 and by default only boots using EL.

I looked for lilo.conf and found only /etc/lilo.conf.anaconda and /etc/lilo.conf.rpmsave.

How do I have SME7BETA8 auto boot using smp (Dual processor support)?

Thanks

Select smp once at boot time.

Thanks Charlie, did not believe that it would have been that simple. The SME 7 developer team have really excelled with this version.

Cheers
