Post by: Matt on December 16, 2001, 05:43:19 AM
I have E-smith server and gateway (release 4.1.2) setup on one of my computers at home and i am linux illiterate.  I have everything on it working perfectly and now I am wondering how to intall Seti@home on it if anyone would be kind enough to reply with detail step-by-step instructions I would be very thankful.  Thank you

make a new directory say /seti and download the i386-linux-whatever commadnline into it and run it. do this from the server and just leave it running,

or you can use screen to hide it and set it to run whenever you start the server.
