Title: spamassasin error in /var/qmail/.spamassain
Post by: steel on January 22, 2006, 10:14:26 AM
SME 6.01
installed e-smith-spamassassin-0.6.2beta-1jp2.60.noarch.rpm
spamassasin is showing up with the error:

Cannot write to.

/var/qmail/.spamassassin/user_prefs: No such file or directory
Jan 22 16:27:39 server spamd[6639]: Couldn't create readable default_prefs for [/var/qmail/.spamassassin/user_prefs]

Can anyone shed some light on this error.

I think it is the root cause of why the server does not process mail when I have enabled procmail to send mail to spamassasin before delivery.

TIA

Steve

You would be far better off to use the Spam filter script from jesper knudsen.
I would also advise using his Antivirus panel script as well.
