Hi i have just downloaded the latest squirrelmail into the HTML folder in a new ibay. I then ran the config.pl in teh squirrelmail confirg directory.
but it doesnt work ?? i dont know where i'm going wrong, is there a new guide on how to install squirrelmail on sme ??
i want squirrelmail to ressolve to mail.myserver.com rather than myserver.com/webmail
can anybody please help

It worked no problem at all on SME 7 pre1.

mail.mydomain.com
instead of
mydomain.com/webmail

add a subdomain and put a redirect to youreserver/webmail

First off, mail.yourserver.com is your mail server, so you would have to change that to something else. Assuming you install squirrrelmail into a new ibay - say "smail", then from server-manager go to "Domains" and add new domain. Call it smail.yourserver.com and choose Squirrelmail content, not primary.
Finally, change your DNS and add an A host of smail.yourserver.com to point to your ip address. Everything should work if you do this properly, I just confirmed it on mine.
