Title: Weekly cron massage from 6.5rc1
Post by: calisun on February 06, 2006, 10:20:49 PM
In the weekly cron email to the admin I get a following message:

/etc/cron.weekly/makewhatis.cron:

zcat: stdout: Broken pipe

zcat: stdout: Broken pipe

zcat: stdout: Broken pipe

zcat: stdout: Broken pipe

zcat: stdout: Broken pipe

zcat: stdout: Broken pipe

And this continues on and on, I want to say at least 200 times
Does anybody know what this is?

It's a long standing bug you'll find multiple times in RedHat bugzilla. Alan Cox thinks it's a problem with signal handling in crond.
