Hi,
I am using a PPPoE connection to the internet and I have a custom domain (say companyabc.com) host at dyndns. I thought I fill the infornation about that in the config screen, but nothing seems to be updated at dyndns.
I need help to solve it.

Use the Bug Tracker link to the left to report the problem. Include full details.

I am running SME 7 alpha 8 in Server/Gateway mode over a PPPoE (FiOS!) connection.
DynDNS works fine for me.
I guessed wrong on the host / domain name the first time I set it up (and got a message from DynDNS telling me to knock it off...)
I had to set my entire domain name equal to the registered dyndns host name to get it to work - that is, if my dyndns hostname is "smeserver.dyndns.org", my sme server's domain name is set to "smeserver.dyndns.org"

I always use ddclient.
Install it and then configure the /etc/ddclient.conf file.
Then put a line at the end of the /etc/rc.local file to have it load after reboot.

Almost too simple really, but the information on this topic is sooo much I somehow missed it, however I am still having trouble accessing via the net for some reason
