Title: Getting all my mails twice?
Post by: spook on February 11, 2006, 11:12:32 AM: Hi, I'm running SME Server 7.0Pre1, and except some problems with the webmail disappearing (the entire /webmail is now an empty directory, check out this thread: http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=30590.0) it is running just great. But there is a problem with my email... Whenever I check my mail, I get all mails twice. No matter where they're sent from, I get them twice. Quite annoying, actually...

Any suggestions anyone?

Any problems with 7.0pre1 should be reported via the bug tracker. Use the link to the left.

Post by: bart-s on February 13, 2006, 01:19:54 AM: If you edit the .q-mail file in your home directory you will probably see your mail directory ./Maildir/ twice. Removing one of the lines solved the problem for me. I'm don't no what caused it though..

Is "DO NOT MODIFY THIS FILE!" not sufficiently clear? That file will be regenerated, which is why we put that warning there. When it is regenerated, your problem will reappear.

Please follow-up in bug 735 - we need details in order to track what's causing this.

Post by: markfarey on October 11, 2006, 08:30:35 PM: I just did a fresh install and have the same problem of receiving all emails twice. I see a bug report was opened for this but still no fix. Please help!

Then as per Gordon's post could you follow up on Bug 735, your more likely to get assistance there than here, please make sure you include all server history details.
