I receive the following error when attempting to send emails from a windows program that uses outlook express to send mail.
The message could not be sent because its size exceeded the server's limit. You can use the option, located in Tools | Accounts | Properties | Advanced, to break messages into smaller parts. Subject 'QUOTATION - HELLO', Account: '192.168.0.3', Server: '192.168.0.3', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '552 Mail with no Date header not accepted here', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 552, Error Number: 0x800CCC6D
How can I configure sme linux 7 to accept mails without date headers

You probably can but why would you want to. This is a good anti-psam measure and you are going to find other mail servers out there that are going to start doing the same thing. You need to get the windows application fixed...it should always send a date header.
Read these bug reports, there is a workaround if you really want to disable this FEATURE. It is not a bug but a rather nice feature that I personally welcome as I am sick and tired of junk and spam emails.
