Do Snort/Acid packages still work with SME 7.X?

sleepy sme has snort rpm on his site here: http://vanhees.homeip.net/index.php?name=CmodsDownload&file=index&req=viewsdownload

I'm not sure if he keeps them on a contrib dir here or not.

LOL -he beat me to it in his other post.
Looks like the rpm's will be moved to a yum repo for addons once it's up & running.
