I'm moving to SME 5 from an NT server box, and much of the administration pages I wrote for my site relies on some of the new features of PHP 4.1.0... I managed to patch up most of the public pages, but I'm going to need to get PHP 4.1 on there...
Can anyone point me to an easy way to set up PHP 4.1 on the server? If make/gcc/cpp were already there I could probably compile it, but it's alot of trouble to get to that point, plus I wouldn't know where to put the compiled binaries.
Any/all assistance appreciated.

Unfortunately, that document doesn't describe updating to PHP 4.1.0 (besides which, 4.1.1 is now the current version anyway). This is because I haven't seen RPMs of that version yet. Once they come out, the procedure would be the same.

Try this:
http://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=php
Rpm Version 4.1.1 doens't seems to exist yet.
Have to wait ...
