Title: Event: DegradedArray, Device: /dev/md1
Post by: Denbert on March 04, 2006, 07:47:59 AM
Hi,

I’ve upgraded my hardware from PIII 500mhz, 512mb RAM, 1x80gb HDD to Dual Athlon 2400+, 1gb RAM and 2x200gb HDD in raid1 and software from SME 6.0.1 to SME 7.0pre3 yesterday and there was no problems at all during the process.

But I seem to have a problem with one of my hard discs as the raidmoitor says:

Any other suggestions, than changing the brand new HDD? And if I should change the HDD, witch is it?

Hello,

This bug has been reported for SME 7pre3.

However I have 7rc1 and do not have any kind of RAID setup, I installed on a single disk. After installation, I added two additional drives for storage using this how-to: http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs//mblotwijk/HowToGuides/AddExtraHardDisk.htm

Everything seemed to work alright until i downloaded the latest updates from sever manager today, rebooted, and was confronted with this error.

????
