Hello everyone I just got linux a day ago and im wanting to portfoward some ports with ipforward. But everytime I try to move that .rpm from my computer through network to esmith server it says access is denied. Does anyone know how I can go about doing this? Thanks...
Sincerely, Cheech.

Try this:
create an e-smith user called user with password of user.
Logoff from windows then at the Windows "Network Logon" prompt login as user with the password as user (If you don't get a network prompt change the "primary network logon" from windows logon to Client for Microsoft Networks)
Now pull up a dos prompt and type "net use h: /home" without the quotes
then "copy c:\path_to_rpm\rpm_name h:\rpm_name" without the quotes
You can also type into the address bar of the browser ftp://user@ftp and then use windows drag and drop.

Thanks guys already figured out how to move it through the network under xp.
I did a bit differ from what keen said tho. I made user name under xp named admin and same pass as esmith. then logged in under admin on xp then i could send right to esmith.
thanks for replies tho..
