Just wondering,

Will a Newsgroup or Discussion software be included in E-Smith anytime in the future.

It's not in the current plan, which you can see at http://www.e-smith.org/future/. However, if you look on this bulletin board, other users have found it easy to install third party web based discussion forum software on their e-smith server.
