Title: cloning ide to scsi

I have andell with an ide drive which is running sme 6.5 and i want to upgrade the system to another dell with raid 5 scsi drives. what is the best way to do this?
1.  Install sme on new server and do a backup  then restore and install extra modules
2.  can the ide drives be cloned.
