Hey guys,
new to forums here - i've been reading readme's about how to install SME. However, there wasn't any instructions on how to setup SME without using a CD to burn and installing it from there.
Like, is there a way to installing when you've got access to ssh/telnet? Or do I have to installing from the CD.
Regards,

In order to access ssh/telnet, you need OS to be installed already. That implies that application is installed to existing OS.
SME is NOT the application that you install on top of existing OS.
Its self-content OS, and its required the dedicated computer. During installation (from CDROM) it will erase all your hard drives and partition/format them. There is no remote access to the server until you finish the installation, create a password and configure the remote access rules. You have to have a physical access to the server’s console (monitor and keyboard) during the installation.
