Title: Migrating from Proliant 5500 to 1850R, Spamassassin.. Gone

I've just run a backup to desktop on my old dual Pentium Pro server and restored the backup to a new install on a Proliant 1850R. Now I seem to have lost the spam and antivirus control panels, so I tried reinstalling them and only the anti virus one has appeared. Spamassassin doesn't seem to be running (no evidence of spamd on startup).

Help! It took me ages to get my old server configured and now it's proving more difficult than I'd hoped to migrate it to new hardware.

I think you don´t have a problem... you just don´t have the packages of SpamAssassin and ClamAV installed.
Both of them do not came right out of box on SME 6.01!
Please do a search on this forum about ClamAV & SA install !

Just went in and double checked and it appears that when I ran the SpamAssassin install script from Swerts-Knudsen it was the old version and something wasn't happy. Did a WGET for the new (March) version and everything is working fine now...
