Post by: Rob on January 08, 2002, 10:19:39 PM
Ok, I think it is my network card, but I cannot access my server on my local network. I have a server with a NE2000 ISA card and it is not working for some reason or another. Can someone PLEASE help me with this I really need to get my site up and running.

I had a problem getting NT 4 server with a NE2000 NIC.  Throw it away and replace with a cheapo NIC and you should be OK.  I recall the NE2000 being designed for Novell networks/servers.

E-smith documentation requires a PCI NIC Card.  I would still trash the NE2000 NIC.  Good Luck
