Title: Yum Broken by Beta update ! (GUI only)
Post by: colwyn on April 05, 2006, 05:12:37 PM
During a previous Beta update (I think it was Beta6 to 7) the software installer in the web browser stopped detecting that there are new updates to install. I also started getting an error saying:

Found warnings:
[04:07:02] WARNING, found:  /etc/.yum.conf.swp (data)

I have been able to run yum updates from the console and thought that if I run the updates maybe it would fix the problem ? Well that did not fix it !

I did try running a cleanup command for the meta data but it also did not help.

Any ideas ?

Colwyn

All problems should be reported in detail via the Bug Tracker.
