Title: [Contrib] Snort for sme server 7.x

I have followed the instructions on Sleepy SME at http://www.vanhees.cc for installing snort, guardian, oinkmaster and base on a clean install of SME 7.0 rc1 but receive the following fatal error up rebooting the server

Initializing Network Interface eth1
ERROR: OpenPcap() device eth1 open:
ioctl: No such device
Fatal Error Quitting..
Running in IDS mode

any thoughts or suggestions.

Hello,

Are you on gateway mode??
Normally it detect automatically output interface, in you case he detected eth1 as output interface.
If you are in server only mode, he should use eth0 as output interface, but it's propably a bug.
