Maybe you could elaborate a little bit more on your wishes... it is hard to judge what is good if you don't have objectives to reach.

Well i want certain users only to have access to websites that i want. Different users will have different access to certain sites but i dont want anyone to access to other websites which i dont want.

It seems to me you are not looking for a policy file but for some proxy configuration:
Quote from: "[url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proxy_server
Wikipedia: Proxy server[/url]"]Web proxies can also filter the content of Web pages served. Some censorware applications — which attempt to block offensive Web content — are implemented as Web proxies. Other web proxies reformat web pages for a specific purpose or audience; for example, Skweezer reformats web pages for cell phones and PDAs. Network operators can also deploy proxies to intercept computer viruses and other hostile content served from remote Web pages.
By default there is a proxy server on your SMEServer. It is called Squid (http://www.squid-cache.org/). More info can be found on their site, especially form the Squid FAQ (http://www.squid-cache.org/Doc/FAQ/FAQ.html) or the Squid wiki (http://wiki.squid-cache.org/).

Will squid still work if the server is 'server-only' mode ?

You may want to have a look at Dansguardian on the dungog site ... http://www.dungog.net/dansguardian.php ... I'm sure it will do what you want it to do ... to get the server-manager intergration you will have to pay for it.

Regards,

Tib

adm's templates are avail from the horses mouth. you can use these adm's to create gpo's for ms clients if you need to.

-grab the adm templates: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=92759d4b-7112-4b6c-ad4a-bbf3802a5c9b&DisplayLang=en
-grab the poledit.exe from w2ksp4: http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/default.mspx
-extract files
-launch adminpack.msi
-run poledit.exe
-add the adm's by OPTIONS>TEMPLATES
-create your gpo's with poledit & save as: NTConig.POL
-copy to your NETLOGON share

NOTES
-you can customize the adm's as they are just txt files
