I receive all of the admin emails. Every day my server is hit with thousands of emails to accounts that don't exist, but to a valid domain on my sme box. Ex. badname@validdomain.com, badname2@validdomain.com ...
The valid accounts work as expected. I am using the standard build 7.0rc1 with nothing additional installed. Is there a way to just drop invalid email addresses when they come in? Looking through the forum, it is unclear if this is something I can configure as part of the version 7 platform, or if I need to install an add on.
Dropping the invalid email addresses up front would releive the junk mail logs that fill up and also reduce the messages to the admin. It would also reduce outbound traffic of invalid email address notices.

Invallid email addresses shouldn't come in. Check the email headers and determine whether they are being generated inside your network.
The Bug Tracker, not an obsolete forum, is the place to report problems.

Please se my response in bug tracker, #1330. I didn't realize this forum was obsolete and that the current means of communication was via bug tracker. Thanks.
