Post by: Anton Shabelski on February 02, 2000, 06:44:48 PM
I use preview version 4.0, how to upgrade from samba 2.0.5a to Samba 2.0.6?
rpm -U command does not help, says about conflict with mans from 2.0.5a

Thanx

If you *really* want to install the later version of samba, then you can do it by using the --force option to rpm.  But is it essential? I notice that RedHat, for instance, have not chosen to use the later version.
