Title: hot swap drives

are hot swappable SCSI drives supported at all by e-smith ?? Does anyone have any experience running these?

Michael,

"Hot swap" must be supported by the controller (usually a RAID controller) and have supporting hot-swap drive carriages / cages. If your RAID controller supports hot swap and if the controller is also supported by SME / ESSG, then your hot swap drives will work.
