Title: Maximum numbers of groups 28?

Hello
we provide online storage for different people on our sme 6.01 Server. Currently every user has his own group and ibay.
After 28 Groups there is an error message "There are already the maximum number of groups in the system. You cannot add more."

Questions:
What causes that limit and can it be changed?
Could an update to SME 7 help?

Well known problem.

Limit to 28 groups came from RedHat 7.3.

SME 7.0 will solve it.

No you cannot solve it using older than 7.0x

Yes, SME 7 .0x will solve your problem as I believe the limit was to do with the 2.4 kernel.
