Hi all off you out there.

 This is my first post here, so i´ll ask for you patience trying to help me.

 Yesterday i installed the devtools for sme7.0. I installed it on a 7.0-RC1.

 Since then my apache web server as died. Could you point me to some directions about testing the server? how httpd.conf should be? Thanks in advance, as i really am desperated, because is a production server....  :-(

 P.S: Sorry for my english...

First thing this post should be in the SME 7.x forum not the contribs...

Why did you want to install the dev-tools? Normally you will find people suggesting you download centos 4.3 (as SME is based on)

Next why your apache isn't working? Could you tell us what you see in any of the logs? i.e /var/log/messages and /var/log/httpd/

Hi byte.

 Sorry for the post here...

 I want to install the rt contrib for ldap.... Big mistake, i know that now... :-(

 Can you point me in the right direction to download centos 4.3?  :roll:

 Apache isn´t working, because i can´t get webmail nor webpage for my site...

 Thanks in advance....

 P.S: log messages doesn´t say anything at all about the problem....

type centos 4.3 in google and you will find lots of links...

Well saying " Apache isn´t working" doesn't really tell us alot, why isn't it working i.e when start up does it say httpd failed?? it should tell you in one of those logs why it isn't starting try...

All I can suggest for now!

 After all, there are no guru´s in linux around here.... No one could help me solving this problem....

 Fortunatly, i solved it myself... If any one would have such a problem as i had, please fell free to contact me. I will help you immediatly.
