Title: smeserver-remoteuseraccess-1.0-1.noarch.rpm
Post by: seabro on May 11, 2006, 07:14:00 PM
hi

I installed smeserver-remoteuseraccess-1.0-1.noarch.rpm

After I have chroot'd a user, an attempt to login via FTP results in 'access denied'

Prior to chrooting a user, they are able to login.

How can I recover from this? I need 3 users to have FTP access to the html folder under one of my ibays.

Thanks

You may want to make sure that folders/files you accessing via FTP have correct permissions/ownership (chmod/chown)

Here's a brief howto on web hosting on SME.  This was for internal use, so it's not so, umm, pretty.

I hope it helps.
