Title: Are 486-based computers supported?

You say that I must have a Pentium based computer to run the e-smith server. Did it work on i486 computers also?

i486 - HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS:  Hi Stefan:  Thanks for the post!  Out of the box, the e-smith server relies upon the computer being PCI-based so that it can auto-detect NICs.  Certain late model 486s are PCI based and they work just great!  If you decide to ignore our PCI requirement, you may have to fiddle to get the ISA card drivers detected.  Thanks!
