It would be nice if SME had a standard backup that was worth a darn. I love my SME server and I am testing it on a few clients but man the backup features are terrible. I might mess around this backup software at home. I like some of the features in the manual.

Typically I use a second SME box running BACKUPPC to backup all my PC's and the ibays on SME. It works great, you never touch it. I also use rsync to push my SME data offsite for DR, this also works great with Dungog's utilities. BUT I'm trying to work windows server across a wan connection in the mix so rsync is the way to go but I'm having troubles with it on the windows side.

Rick,
Have you tried DeltaCopy or cwRsync? I toyed around with cwRsync last week one day and got it working. Haven't tried DeltaCopy yet, but it looks like it is just as promising but not as complicated to get up and going.

I tried cwrsync but I had issues with the service eating up all the CPU's after serveral days.
the other.
I'll take a look at Deltacopy.
Thanks,
