I want to read webmail on my Ipaq (windows mobile 5)
I see the login screen and can fill in my name and password, but I cannot go through the next screen (which says "welcome and emailadress"
this is in internet explorer on the mobile device)
Am I doing something wrong or did I forget anything, or could this be a bug?

Do you happen to know whether your mobile device supports secure connections?
-
Yes, It support secure connections.
with minimo (minimozilla) I can login. (but minimo gives me another problem with the layout of the pages)
I can also make a secure connection to an exchangeserver.

Ah... I just checked the page source of a webmail page served up by my SME test server and it looks like Horde (the webmail interface) uses frames to lay the page out. Some mobile browsers don't fully support frames - perhaps this could be the problem.
Is there not a POP3 (or better still, IMAP) mail client on your mobile device, or available for it, that you could use instead?
-
Yes, I can use a pop or imap account.
But I like the secure webmail.
I am not sure, but I thought it was possible in SME6.01 and 6.5.
Perhaps it was possible in 6.5 because I used the smeplus upatescript which included mobile IMP.
If I was sure that this was the solution I would post this in "future requests"but I am not sure that mimp is the solution

It is/was possible with 6.x via the horde script I wrote. I have built SME7 RPM's for mimp and more that you can use to test if you want. They are located here - http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs//jbennett/sme7/horde/RPMS/
Not having looked at the full set for a while, I believe you will also need to download and install the forked e-smith-horde so that the composite driver will be used if mimp is set to enabled. You'll have to look at the mimp changelog to get the exact syntax on what to use. The RPM's are forked for now until SME7 goes GA, then I plan on working with the Devs to get some of this stuff moved to the mainstream so that the other horde components that I have built will fit it much better than they do now.
I have not tested mimp out very much, but in my limited testing it did work. So, if you give it a go, great, if not, then you can wait until sometime after the release of 7.0.
Also, this thread needs to be moved to the contribs forum. If you reply back to this, please create a new thread there, and put the link to that thread here.
