Title: HTTPS Problem
Post by: mien on June 02, 2006, 12:56:48 PM
Hello,

I get an alert box when I access the server with HTTPS (like for example by opening webmail at http://site_name.dk/webmail/ ). The alert box is saying:
"The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site"

And in fact, I can see that the certificate is issued by "host_name.site_name.dk" and not by just "site_name.dk", is this the problem? and how can I get the problem fixed?

Thank you!

Search the forum for creating a self signed certificate. It has been explained a number of times.

All you need to do is accept the certificate.
