Title: what is HDPARM?

What in the world is HDPARM??? This comes up as disabled when my server only sme v5 boots up.

Hi,

A simple explanation:

HDPARM is a utility that can influance your harddiskk performance and 'acting'.

If you enable it, it defaults to 32-bit acces and DMA usage. More you can find at:

http://myezserver.com/docs/mitel/hdparm-howto.html

Watch it, use only with newer harddisks and systems.
