Title: Cant send email to out side email addys ony internal addys

hi all,

I have a Standard sme 7 install , incoming email is fine and sending email to any one internally (email addy host on sme server) works fine. I cant send email to any one else such as gmail, hotmail,etc . If its not on the server I cant Send to it. My email client says " An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server reponded: invalid recipient msilkjr@gmail.com Please verify that your email address is correct in your Mail preferences and try again. "

There is not enough information here to assist you.  In any events, you may have found a bug.  Please report it to the Bugtracker, it may be important...

Are you by any chance connecting to your server from outside your local network? if so, then your symptoms are a documented feature to prevent mail relaying, and you need to set the smtp server in your mail client to your ISP smtp server, not your SME server, or alternatively come in via pptp and appear local.
