Title: Proxy server options disabled in SME Server 7 configuration
Post by: organetic on June 28, 2006, 05:07:18 PM
I just found on SME's server 7 manual a reference to the configuration of external proxies:

http://smeserver.sourceforge.net/sme70/sme70/Manual/Chapter5

Section 5.14. Further Miscellaneous Parameters

it states:

"External proxy server: The next screen allows you to configure your server so that the computers on your network will use a proxy server outside of your own network. Some Internet Service Providers may require this. Additionally, if your server is behind another firewall, it may need to use the external proxy server."

But I cant find this screen at all.
Right now, I can't manage to connect to the internet, because my internet provider has mandatory proxy server settings.

Is there any workaround for this?

Regards,

Nuno

Errors in the documentation should be reported via the Bug Tracker. Thanks.
